A third different player started at right guard in Alabama's 51-3 pounding of Mississippi State.
After Lester Cotton got the last three starts, tackle Korren Kirven got the nod. A few things went into the move more than a month after Alphonse Taylor went out with a concussion at Arkansas.
Cotton is coming off a concussion, Saban mentioned for the first time after Saturday's game.
"He was in a black shirt all week this week," Saban said. "He could play in the game but didn't take as many reps in practice.
