Alabama fans will have the opportunity to take a college football road trip of a lifetime when the Crimson Tide travels to South Bend to play Notre Dame. The only downside is they'll have to wait a decade to do so.
Alabama and Notre Dame fans are both understandably excited the two schools announced a home-and-home series scheduled for 2028 and 2029. Alabama has typically eschewed these type of series in the Nick Saban era, opting instead for lucrative paydays for neutral site games. For instance, Alabama played Florida State in Atlanta to open the 2017 season and will play Louisville in Orlando to kick off this upcoming season.
