Sidney Lanier in Montgomery is the Alabama high school that has sent the most alumni to the Super Bowl. Five former Poets have made seven appearances on Super Bowl rosters. Sidney Lanier's Super Bowl players have been Johnny Davis, Richmond Flowers, Tarvaris Jackson, Jeno James and Bart Starr.
The Poets won't add to their Super Bowl total when the NFL championship game is played on Feb. 5 in Houston. But four of the Alabama high schools represented still could.
