Alabama football’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack was ‘very disappointed’ in the effort the Tide’s defense displayed on a play in the first half against Oklahoma.
The play resulted in Oklahoma’s only offensive score of the game. The Sooners’ starting quarterback John Mateer carried the football on what appeared to be a quarterback-designed run and broke several tackles en route to crossing the goal line for a score.

Wommack expressed his disappointment in the play on Monday.
“We had in one touchdown we gave up, we had three missed tackles, never should have happened, very disappointing in that situation right there,” Wommack said.
