Tuscaloosa’s Hillcrest High School, alma mater of Alabama RB Brian Robinson, went on the road to Wetumpka last night. After a hard fought game, they found themselves down two points with time for only one more snap, 59 yards away from the end zone.
Pretty bleak, right?
What a thrilling end for the Hillcrest kids and a crushing defeat for those from Wetumpka, who had the ball right there for the taking. The Alabama twanged, “What’re we doin’?” just before the climax adds to the entertainment value.
Hollywood writes some great stories, but they can’t touch stuff like this.
