Jalyn Armour-Davis (6-feet-0, 174 pounds), a four-star recruit from Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul’s Episcopal, is one of the top-15 cornerbacks nationally and a top-three recruit in Alabama; he is the state’s No. 1 defensive recruit.

Armour-Davis picked the Crimson Tide over Florida State and Auburn. He also received offers from Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, USC, and others.

Three notable St. Paul’s alums to have success at Alabama are Mark Barron, A.J. McCarron and Jake Coker.

When he first got to high school, Armour-Davis was a basketball player.

“As a freshman, basketball was always my sport, but when I received my first offer from Auburn after spring football going into my 10th-grade year, I decided to drop basketball and roll with football because I saw that was going to be my future,” he told GN.
