Nick Saban said it and it came true. As the 90-percent partial eclipse rolled over Tuscaloosa, Alabama players were staring skyward in those special glasses for viewing the event.
A video posted on running back Bo Scarbrough's Instagram page showed the team watching at the football complex. A few players fumbled with the glasses but the funniest part was when the camera panned over to defensive back Tony Brown. He didn't mess with the cardboard shield.
"TB doesn't care," someone said in the background.
Linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton, who previously posted a picture saying people were "taking this junk too serious," was watching with glasses.
