Vanderbilt lands former Alabama offensive lineman

Former Alabama football offensive lineman, Micah DeBose has committed to transfer to Vanderbilt, according to ON3.

DeBose entered the transfer portal after one season with the Crimson Tide. He played in one game for Alabama in 2025 and finished his first action with two knockdowns on four snaps. The former four-star recruit signed with the Tide out of Theodore High School.

The Commodores have now landed two Alabama transfers. Cole Adams chose Vanderbilt after recently entering the transfer portal.

Alabama’s offensive line has taken a significant hit from the transfer portal, in addition to players leaving for the NFL.
