UA softball takes winning streak to Atlanta tournament

The University of Alabama softball team is taking a four-game winning streak into the Panther Invitational in Atlanta and looking to extend it.

The fifth-ranked Crimson Tide (5-1) is coming off a combined no-hitter by Madi Moore, Sydney Littlejohn and Alexis Osorio against UAB on Tuesday. UA’s pitching staff has not allowed a home run this season. Moore, a left-handed freshman and former state Miss Softball from Winfield, leads UA in wins with a 3-0 record. Neither she nor Osorio have given up an earned run so far.

Alabama’s speed on the basepaths has been showing in the early season.
