The usually poised and unflappable Ty Simpson was far from his best form as he and the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Oklahoma Sooners.
Simpson, a quarterback who had thrown 21 touchdowns and just one interception all season, completed less than 67 percent of his pass attempts for a disappointing single touchdown and his second INT of the year.
Simpson was also sacked four times throughout the game, losing nine total yards on the ground, despite earning a few positive carries. He also fumbled the ball in the second half, and it was recovered by Oklahoma linebacker Kendal Daniels.
