Tua Tagovailoa’s career day versus TAMU bodes well for Heisman voters

Maybe he does not need to play a full game.

In the time that Tua Tagovailoa has been on the field as Alabama’s quarterback, the offense has turned in astronomical numbers under Nick Saban. The same thing occurred in Saturday’s game against Texas A&M as the sophomore was responsible for five touchdowns in a 45-23 win.

Along with having his third performance of completing 70 percent of his throws, Tagovailoa’s 387 passing yards was a career high. While two of his scoring passes went to Devonta Smith and Henry Ruggs III, Hale Hentges brought in his other two passing scores.
