Electronic Arts (EA) Sports is releasing Madden 23 on August 19.
The company is honoring the legendary John Madden, who died on Dec. 28, 2021.
Madden will be on the cover of the game, but Alabama football is showing its presence too. According to EA Sports and National Football League Players Association, three Crimson Tide alums at wide receiver earned high ratings. Amari Cooper, a former first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, is in his eighth pro season and first with the Cleveland Browns. He has posted five 1,000-yard seasons in his career and has an overall grade of 90 in Madden 23.
