Former Alabama All-American Trent Richardson got more action in his second Canadian Football League game than he did in his first and tripled his rushing yardage.
On Friday night, Richardson led the Saskatchewan Roughriders with 60 yards on 14 rushing attempts in a 33-32 loss to the Ottawa Redblacks. In his CFL debut in the Roughriders' 27-24 victory over the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday night, Richardson ran for 20 yards on five carries.
That was Richardson's first football game since a preseason contest with the Oakland Raiders on Aug. 30, 2015.
