An important conservative Southern Baptist leader fighting the rise of Neo-Marxism in the Southern Baptist Convention is in the Intensive Care Unit of a Florida hospital. Tom Ascol is recovering and improving after collapsing while at church Sunday morning. Initially, Ascol collapsed and was not responsive, but by Sunday evening he was improving. The improvements continued Monday, according to the family.
In an update posted on Twitter by Tom Ascol’s wife Donna, “We are overwhelmed by the expressions of concern & prayer for him & our family. He is still in ICU but is steadily improving. We face some challenges ahead but are experiencing God’s grace to be full of faith & hope.
