Most importantly, too much celebrating by Crimson Tide fans will be portrayed by others as a poor substitute for no National Championship to celebrate. Also, the Tide’s No. 1 ranking is strengthened by a total of 26 signees and commitments. Georgia and Clemson, both closely trail the Tide.
