The Crimson Tide is on a crash course for revenge as No. 9 Alabama is set to take on the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners to kick off the first round of the College Football Playoff.
This will be just the seventh time in program history that the Tide has played the same team twice in a season, and while Alabama is looking to right the wrong from its loss to Oklahoma in the regular season, it could also spell disaster for the history books.
Out of the six previous occurrences when 'Bama played the same team a second time in the same season, only once did the Crimson Tide lose on both occasions.
