Third-generation wide receiver Jordan McCray could be primed for breakout season at South Alabama

If there's one wide receiver on the South Alabama roster that might be primed for a breakout season in 2018, it's junior Jordan McCray.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound junior has shown flashes of brilliance in his first two seasons with the Jaguars, totaling 29 receptions for 307 yards and a touchdown. But since the calendar turned to 2018, McCray has taken his game to another level.

"He had a great spring and really continued that through the summer," South Alabama head coach Steve Campbell said. "He's had an outstanding camp. He has been really good. He's setting up himself to have a really good fall.
