Alabama football’s head coach Kalen DeBoer feels it is important for Alabama to create opportunities for Ryan Williams to make big plays all over the field.
Williams returns to Alabama for his second year with the Crimson Tide after a breakout freshman campaign.
The Alabama native was selected to the All-SEC First Team and Freshman All-SEC Team by the league coaches after pulling in 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns as one of the youngest players in college football. He missed Alabama football’s latest scrimmage as a precautionary measure, according to DeBoer.
It is unclear how much more spring action Williams will see.
