The Great Dogpile Controversy a touchy subject for Alabama vs. Mizzou

The last time the Alabama softball team faced Missouri, the Crimson Tide celebrated and Ehren Earleywine didn't like it.

Alabama clinched the SEC championship at Missouri at the end season two years ago and players piled on top of each other in the middle of the infield. Earleywine, coach of the Tigers, took offense. He called it "bush league" and "really excessive."

Thus the Great Dogpile Controversy of 2014 was born.

There surely won't be any dogpile party at Rhoads Stadium today when UA and Missouri face off for the first time since that series, but the memory still lingers for Alabama.
