Qua Russaw has been an early standout during Alabama football’s fall camp.
The former five-star and Carver Montgomery High School product is playing outside linebacker for the Tide full time which is a bit of an adjustment for him.
Russaw split time playing from the edge and lining up at inside linebacker while playing with the Wolverines. Alabama’s defensive coordinator Kane Womack feels Russaw has taken a huge leap as of late while transitioning into a new defensive system.
“I think Qua has taken such a leap from playing out of high school, he played the inside linebacker position to now, playing the outside linebacker position in a new system this spring,” Wommack said.
