As a casual observer and a fan of football, Russ Huesman would find himself drawn to an Alabama game if the top-ranked Crimson Tide were playing when he was parked in front of a television.
"Didn't once put it on and try to figure out anything game plan wise," the Chattanooga coach said last week. "Just watched and enjoyed football."
What Huesman saw left him in awe.
"They're just so well-coached and disciplined and fundamental," he said. "You can tell it's not just letting 11 five-star guys run around nuts out there. They know what they're doing.
