Alabama commitment Chadarius Townsend racked up four rushing touchdowns, the Tanner defense registered eight tackles for a loss, and the Class 2A, No. 5-ranked Rattlers defeated East Limestone 35-14 on Thursday.
Townsend notched his fourth four-touchdown game of the season in front of an overflow crowd at Rip Swanner Field. He completed 3-of-5 passes for 65 yards, recovered a punt blocked by Laquavian Summers, broke up two passes, rushed 11 times for 195 yards and scored on runs of 6, 68, 54 and 16 yards.
East Limestone constantly changed formations, ran 57 plays and dominated time of possession at nearly 29 minutes.
