0 Rushing TDs were scored by Alabama in their postseason games after the Crimson Tide ended the 2017 regular season having scored at least one TD on the ground in 47 consecutive contests. Alabama still won both its games, defeating Clemson 24-6 in the Sugar Bowl and Georgia 26-23 in overtime in the CFP championship game. Alabama hadn't played a game without a rushing TD since a 20-13 overtime victory against LSU on Nov. 8, 2014, before the Sugar Bowl. The Tide's TDs in that game came on passes from Jalen Hurts to Calvin Ridley and Da'Ron Payne and an interception return by Mack Wilson.
