Alabama football’s quarterback, Ty Simpson has coughed up the football in five straight games.
Simpson’s fumble against the Sooners came at an inopportune time. He fumbled the ball with 50 seconds left in the third quarter, giving the Sooners an opportunity to cut into Alabama’s lead.
This is a trend Simpson has to put an end to. Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was asked what his message to Ty was on the multiple fumbles and what Simpson needs to do to correct this part of his game.
“Take care of the ball in the back-end of the pocket, two-handed monster,” Grubb said.
