Ross Pierschbacher proves value of flexibility to Alabama offensive linemen

Ross Pierschbacher is no stranger to changing roles on the offensive side of the ball. The fifth-year senior has been tasked with taking over as the “quarterback” of the offensive line, replacing Second Team AP All-American Bradley Bozeman at center. Media members seem to think he’ll transition well as Pierschbacher was named preseason First Team All-SEC for 2018.

The 2014 four-star commit who ranked as the number-one offensive lineman from the state of Iowa was an integral part of a stacked recruiting class that ranked both number one in the SEC and in the nation. Pierschbacher took a redshirt his freshman year before winning the starting left guard position in 2015.
