In each of the Detroit Lions' previous two games, rookie defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand has produced a strip sack. On the first one, the former Alabama standout couldn't get to the football to make what might have been a victory-sealing recovery. On the second one, he did, and the turnover helped the Lions beat the Green Bay Packers 31-23 in an NFC North rivalry game on Sunday.
After the game, Hand had the ball in the Lions' locker room as he headed for dinner with his parents, who'd come from Virginia for the game.
