At Monday's practice, though, rookie Reuben Foster took the first-team snaps at weakside linebacker for the first time. It reminded Foster of the first team he worked with the first-team defense in practice at Alabama.
"I messed up on a play, and coach (Nick) Saban chewed me out," Foster said at a Monday press conference.
Asked what Saban had said to him, Foster waved his hands back and forth in front of him as if to indicate "Oh no, can't say that," before answering: "Just know he got my tail in line and made me focus.
