For Alabama football, the long summer begins after having its final practice of the spring semester at Bryant-Denny Stadium on last week. In its 13th A-Day Game under Nick Saban, Crimson Tide fans show both good things and areas to improve but there’s excitement nonetheless.
Redshirt sophomore Mac Jones turned in a strong performance, completing 19 of 23 pass attempts for 271 yards with two touchdowns to one interception.
Behind him, team White collected a 31-17 win over team Crimson. John Metchie, a true freshman, totaled a game-high 133 receiving yards on five catches and was the Dixie Howell Memorial Most Valuable Player of the spring game.
