Broadcast meteorologist, James Spann reported rain is expected in Pasadena, California on New Year’s Day when Alabama takes on Indiana in the Rose Bowl.
Spann shared an update on the expected forecast to X on Saturday.
“The sky will be cloudy, and the pattern continues to favor unsettled weather. We expect periods of rain during the game with temperatures rising from the upper 50s at kickoff to the low 60s by the final whistle.” Spann posted to X.
Alabama had to deal with wet conditions during the last bowl season in the ReliaQuest Bowl when it took on the Michigan Wolverines in Tampa, Florida.
