Quinnen Williams arrested at LaGuardia Airport, attempting to board a plan with a gun

Troubling news has occurred with a former Alabama football standout.

According to NJ.com, Quinnen Williams was arrested on Thursday night for trying to board his flight at LaGuardia Airport while carrying a handgun. News came from the Port Authority Police.

Williams, the No. 3 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, had 28 tackles last season with 2.5 sacks in his rookie year.

A native of Birmingham, Ala., he led the Crimson Tide in tackles for loss (19.5) and sacks (eight) while having 12 quarterback hurries in 2018. The 6-foot-3, 303-pound defensive tackle won the Outland Trophy and was selected first-team All-SEC and unanimous All-American.
