Oklahoma Sooners’ defensive back, Eli Bowen had an interception in each of the Sooners’ last two wins over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Bowen intercepted Milroe in 2024, and he returned an interception off Ty Simpson 89 yards for a touchdown earlier this season. The Texas native told reporters Wednesday he would love to keep this streak going against the Tide in the first round of the College Football Playoff with a better overall performance.
“I’d love to keep the pick streak alive, but I didn’t have my best game besides some big plays last time we played them,” Bowen said.
