Ohio State edged previously unbeaten Wisconsin 27-21 to win the Big Ten championship game on Saturday night in Indianapolis, but the real drama will come Sunday.
With the win, the Buckeyes (11-2) staked their claim to the final College Football Playoff spot, perhaps ahead of idle Alabama (11-1). ACC champion Clemson, Big 12 champion Oklahoma and SEC champion Georgia are virtually assured to secure three of the four spots.
On Saturday, J.T. Barrett threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as the Buckeyes won their first Big Ten title since 2014.
