Special Roll Tide Edition
The Meltdown is always a little extra special when Alabama loses as it gives all of the other fanbases an opportunity to turn the tables on us. The Ole Miss game created Meltdowns at several levels: the fumble on the opening kickoff started it all, followed by the early interception that Bateman threw. Each of the long TDs caused significant crimson heartburn, of course, then hopes were dashed at the end on the ill-advised deep ball late in the game that turned into the game-sealing interception. I'd go into it further, but let's be honest here - you all watched the game.
