Notes from Tuesday’s practice as Alabama continues prep for Miss. State

Cutting winds and a 37-degree temperature forced Alabama indoors on Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide continued with prep for Mississippi State, as it faces the Bulldogs on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium. Despite a 4-5 record, the Bulldogs have talent on both sides of the football — including Kylin Hill, who is one of the best running backs in the Southeastern Conference.

While it no longer controls its own destiny for the College Football Playoff, the Tide is in control of how it finishes the regular season. Nick Saban mentioned on Monday that he wants this group to end on a strong note.
