New York Jets wide receiver's suspension affects 2 Alabama alumni

The NFL's suspension of New York Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley on Tuesday brought one Alabama alumnus back into the NFL and might mean more playing time for another.

The NFL suspended Kerley for four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Stinson played in four games for the Jets in October before being waived on Oct. 31. Stinson reportedly suffered a shoulder/neck injury in the Jets' game against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct.
