Nate Oats announced on Sunday that a key Alabama basketball player will miss some time with an unfortunate injury.
It wouldn't be Alabama basketball without an injury to a key player in the preseason. Last year, transfer Chris Youngblood suffered an ankle injury that forced him to miss the first eight games of the 2024-25 season. Now, Miami (FL) transfer Jalil Bethea will miss some time at the beginning of the season with an injury, Nate Oats announced.
Through a release from Yea-Alabama, Oats said the following about the injury to Bethea:
“Jalil Bethea injured his left foot during practice this week, which required surgery to repair.
