An Alabama coach is indeed set to take a job in the state of Michigan, but it does not involve Kalen DeBoer nor the Wolverines.
Just a couple hours removed from the Alabama Crimson Tide’s victory over Oklahoma, multiple reports have stated that Michigan State is set to hire Alabama co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Nick Sheridan as the Spartans’ new offensive coordinator.
Sheridan was the Crimson Tide’s playcaller in 2024 before Ryan Grubb returned to Tuscaloosa for the 2025 season.
