Matt Womack to push others on UA’s offensive line in his return to practice

Not a whole lot occurred in Tuesday’s practice following rest on Monday; however, seeing offensive tackle Matt Womack return to work was nice. Alabama’s starter at right tackle throughout 2017 has missed the first four games of this season, because of a foot injury he suffered in fall practice. Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban said he would miss four to six weeks, but his father – David Womack – was first to report the news Sunday on his son’s return.

I’m so glad Matt is back with the team and going to practice tomorrow, #Rolltide

The 6-foot-7, 325-pounder anchored the right side of an offensive line that finished as a finalist for the Joe Moore Award in 2017.
