The NFL's suspension of New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram applies only to the first four weeks of the 2018 regular season. Until then, Ingram is eligible to practice and can even play in preseason games.
But Ingram isn't working in New Orleans' offseason program, and Saints coach Sean Payton said he didn't expect to see the running back until the mandatory portion of the NFL team's workout schedule.
That means Ingram won't report to the Saints until the end of Phase 3 of the offseason program -- mandatory minicamp from June 12-14, the last activity before New Orleans breaks until training camp.
