Tony Mitchell announced his top five schools Monday via Twitter.
Mitchell is a product of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, and he garners a five-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. He included Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oregon and Texas A&M in his top five.
The five-star defensive back recently visited Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The Crimson Tide hosted Mitchell on March 5 for their Junior Day event. Texas A&M got the Thompson product on campus in January.
At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Mitchell started at safety for the Warriors during the 2021 football season. He wrapped up his junior campaign with 55 tackles, 11 pass deflections and two interceptions.
