Mac Jones wants to be the best young quarterback in the National Football League.
Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft invested in him by taking him 15th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jones rewarded the Patriots by becoming the best rookie quarterback in his draft class. He led all rookies for passing yards, touchdown passes, completion percentage, and passer rating. Jones also set franchise rookie marks for passing yards (3,801) and touchdowns (22).
He guided New England to the playoffs at 10-7 after the team missed the postseason in 2020. Jones is about getting better, and he took his receivers to work out in Tampa, Fla.
