A report came earlier on Thursday that had supporters of Alabama football concerned.
The report stated that at least five players from the Crimson Tide had tested positive for the coronavirus since returning to campus on Monday. Simone Eli, a television sports anchor for CBS 42, confirmed the reports and tweeted via sources on the infected positions being on the offensive line, a couple of skill position players and one quarterback.
Names have not been mentioned; however, one student at the University of Alabama student threw Mac Jones’ name into the realm of possibilities. Cameron Luke Ratliff, a 23-year-old public relations major and passionate fan, usually brings a humorous perspective when discussing Tide football on Twitter.
