The game is over but the chatter continues, at least on the LSU side.
Tigers defensive back Jay Ward still had a few words to say about the hit he put on Alabama quarterback Bryce Young from a week ago. In a post to his personal Facebook page, Ward shared a picture of his hard hit on Young with the caption “Mission failed he lived”, implying that he intended to knock Young out of the game.

Unfortunately for Ward, Young was able to bounce back from the hit and aide the Crimson Tide to a 20-14 win over the Tigers.
