Less than 24 hours after official replay negated a winning touchdown for LSU over Auburn, Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron have been fired. Ed Orgeron will serve as interim coach.
Miles appeared to be on the hot seat after finishing last season 9-3 and 5-3 in the SEC. However, the LSU administration seemed to have a change of heart after his Tigers won the Texas Bowl over Texas Tech and the players carried him off the field on their shoulders. Now, it seems that Athletics director Joe Alleva had seen enough as the Tigers fell to a record of 2-2.
