LSU athletic director takes shot at Nick Saban

Louisana State University athletic director, Scott Woodward, took a jab at Alabama’s head coach, Nick Saban, on Wednesday during a speech at a Baton Rouge Rotary Club meeting.

Woodward’s remarks about Saban began with LSU’s athletic director praising Saban.

“In the athletic world I always remind people that there have probably been three giants in the NCAA in this last half-century: Skip Bertman, Nick Saban and Mike Kryzyzewski,” Woodward said. “Two of those guys were on our campus in the early 2000s, and that’s because of LSU.”

Woodward then went on to say the veteran coach wish he was still coaching the Tigers.
