Landon Collins' 2016 season unique in NFL history

During the 2016 NFL regular season, New York Giants strong safety Landon Collins made 125 tackles, including 100 solo stops and four sacks, intercepted five passes and had 13 passes defended.

Those numbers earned Collins a spot on the All-Pro team in his second season since the Giants selected him out of Alabama with the first pick in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. The stats also made him unique in NFL history.

Until Collins, no player had ever had at least 100 solo tackles, two sacks, five interceptions and 12 passes defended in the same season.
