He is the recipient of the SEC Offensive Player of the Year, CBS Sports Player of the Year, Sporting News Player of the Year and Associated Press (AP) Player of the Year awards. The legendary wide receiver for Alabama football is also a finalist for the Biletnikoff, Maxwell, Walter Camp honors too. Smith a first-team All-American selection for Sporting News and the AP.
He is a finalist for the Heisman Memorial Trophy and while he stands with Mac Jones for the award, one head coach for the Southeastern Conference made a case for Smith to be the winner.
