More times than not, that iconic lyric from Alabama’s fight song has been correct. The Crimson Tide has a 5-2-1 record in its previous eight Rose Bowl appearances. That includes a program-changing victory over Washington 100 years ago to help Alabama claim its first national title.
The Tide’s last trip to Southern California ended in disappointment, as it suffered a 27-20 loss to Michigan in the 2024 Rose Bowl as part of the College Football Playoff. This year, No. 9 Alabama (11-3) will look to keep its title hopes alive, as it faces No.
