The Snake has finally gotten his due and been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Kenny Stabler had been passed over for induction into the NFL Hall of Fame for twenty years; it’s been thirty one years since Stabler took his last NFL snap. So finally six months after Kenny Stabler died of cancer he has been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
This is both a wonderful and sad moment. The moment is wonderful because Stabler’s family must be immensely happy to see his memory honored in such a way; but it’s also sad because The Snake didn’t live to see this himself.
