The Crimson Tide is coming off a solid 20-9 win over the LSU Tigers on Saturday, specifically due to a great performance from the defense. Although the rivalry win was nice, the focus has already shifted to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma’s offense is being led by offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle, who Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack already has some history with, and quarterback John Mateer, who was a preseason Heisman favorite.
Although Mateer has not quite lived up to the hype so far this season, Oklahoma’s offense has still found success, particularly in the red zone, as they’ve scored every time that they’ve been inside the 20-yard line.
